At The Micks Collective PTY LTD ("we", "us", "our"), we value the trust our fans place in us. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from the Team Micks Store (the “Site”).

  • Payment Information: Credit card numbers (processed securely via Shopify/Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).

  • Communication: Your phone number and any preferences you share for Team Micks Store updates or new Micks release news.

 

2. How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

Additionally, we use this information to:

  • Communicate with you: Provide updates on pre-orders and digital single deliveries.

  • Marketing: In line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our music, tours, and merch.

  • Chart Reporting: For digital singles like "girl, you'll be fine," we share necessary sales data with ARIA (Australia) and Billboard (US) via the Single app to ensure your purchase counts toward the official charts.

3. Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.

  • Single Music: To report sales to ARIA and Billboard.

  • International Marketing: We use tools like Meta and Google to reach our audience across the world. This may involve "Custom Audiences" based on your email address to show you relevant tour news.

Compliance Note: We will only disclose your information to overseas recipients where we have taken reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles.

 

4. Your Rights (Australia)

  • Australia (Privacy Act): You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.

5. Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records (and for ARIA audit purposes) unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

6. Automated Decision-Making 

In compliance with the 2024 Amendments to the Privacy Act, we notify you that we do not currently use fully automated decision-making processes that have a legal or significantly similar effect on you. We use "automated" tools only for marketing segmentation to ensure you receive news relevant to your region (e.g., Australian tour dates or International tour dates).
